This special car had so many interesting features - older cars do - it took a while to shoot for Collecting Cars. Even moving it around the location was fun. All the different little noises coming from the engine gave it a soul I’m sure the new owner - it sold at a premium - will love.

When you get the call the photograph a Bentley you it’s going to be a quality car looked after for it’s owner. I shot this on in south Dorset on the Jurassic coast. It sold well for it’s on Pistonheads Auctions.

To mark the occasion of Great British car marque Invicta becoming 100 in 2025 a private celebration was held at Wilton House in Salisbury. 35 cars from the very first the last were present with some driving from mainland Europe. The owners were all enthusiastic and engaging from Lord Pembroke to an F1 legend.

House staff were very supportive too, special thanks to the manager for giving me access to the roof for some special shots.

I needed to convey the aspirational nature of this stunning E46 M3 cabriolet so headed to a nearby yacht club.Shot in early spring so the yachts are out of the water making a great back drop. It has a hard top so had shoot it three times showing that, the soft top and, top down plus the usual close-ups and informative shots.

Strong bidding took the car to a successful sale well the over reserve price.

Taking Over the New Forest Park Authority Instagram

Well, sort of. Having had a photograph published in a recent New Forest NPA newsletter they kindly offered me one of four slots this year to do a #NewForestPhotographerTakerover of their instagram feed. This helps showcase local photographer talent and, helps convey key messages the Authority wants to promote. I’m grateful to have been asked and am welcoming new followers and some great comments!

Local builder New Forest Oak Buildings (NFOB) have a great website with a lot of photos showcasing their products. As with many, the photos were good but could be more impactful and convey the quality of craftsmanship with a professional portfolio.

The beautiful natural look and long lasting characteristics of oak make it an ideal building material and, provides plenty of opportunities for a wide range of photographs.

With classic design features and traditional construction techniques delivered by NFOB you have a building that looks great, is well thought out, robust and low maintenance. (I’m lucky enough to have one!)

A ‘Q Car’ if ever I saw one! This monster in disguise is a pristine example of the this rare car.

It' had been in barn storage for a number of years and enjoyed on special occasions. Having has the car for some time, the owner decided to put the car on the market using a selection from the portfolio.

The right deal was achieved with the portfolio of photographs noted as an important contributing factor to the sale success.

I’m looking forward to seeing and photographing it’s replacement!
