Slow Horses at Andrew's Mare - Framed

£85.00

On this morning, I was really struggling to find a composition, and it was cold with a properly cold wind too. I thought I was going home with no photographs at all, which does happen, sometimes.

The pond at this location wasn’t giving me any inspiration at all, and there were no ponies either. Then, my luck changed completely. The sun had just rise and a large number of ponies appeared on the other side of the pond and, started walking round towards me. Happy days!

I thought I’d go low, lying down so looking up to accentuate the power of these beautiful ponies. They got closer and closer but, they didn’t stop until the lead pony with the white blaze was standing over me looking a bit confused – as was I. I quickly realised I was in their way and needed to move. I did and 15 ponies, nose to tail, walked calmly past.

Printed with high longevity pigment inks on high quality, 310gsm, wide colour gamut paper from Fotospeed. Beech frame with plexiglass.
