Silhouette Sunrise at Long Slade - Framed

£85.00

As sometimes happens when the seasons change, mist hangs low over the forest.

This shot taken in late August was on my first visit to the area. I discovered by chance a serene scene in low, early morning light. Through the soft veil of mist, a single New Forest pony emerged alert and graceful, but also curious, it walked towards me.

I waited quietly watching how mist and light made the familiar into something special. The pony stood still against dense woodland, perfectly framed by the atmospheric conditions that make dawn in the New Forest so captivating.

I feel privileged that the pony trusted me for long enough to capture this moment before disappearing back into the mist and the surrounding woodland nearby.

Printed with high longevity pigment inks on high quality, 310gsm, wide colour gamut paper from Fotospeed. Beech frame with plexiglass.
