This beautiful swan was on Hatchet Pond near Beaulieu. The sun had just risen throwing a warm golden glow across the area. I tried photographing the trees alongside the pond but, it was too misty to make a good photograph. Whilst I was working out what to do this swan paddled slowly towards me out of the mist. There was only one thing to do, attach the long zoom, lie down and look it straight in the eye. Luckily the air was still giving this mirror like reflection.
