The best plans to catch a great sunrise don’t always work out. That’s what happened on my first visit to this location.
Being late into the colours of the woodland were muted, the sky was flat grey but, it was completely calm and there is a small pond on the western side. Taking advantage of these conditions I got this shot with and almost perfect reflection in the water.
I wanted to keep this as natural as possible making for a painterly style.
