Buckler’s Hard on the Beaulieu River is a popular destination for visitors to the New Forest. It’s a historical ship building yard where naval ships were built from 1744. It’s steeped in history and very picturesque. These are the original boat builders houses still standing nearly 300 years later. Some of are setup as they would have been back in the times of the ship building. There is much to see, learn and do there including many activities on the water.
Being there so early one day in May I managed to have the place to myself. WIth nobody around I was able to get this classic of the houses leading down to the river for my own portfolio.
