I really didn’t know where I was going (standard) on this, my first visit to the Frogham area. As I walked up the hill too the ridge plateau a guy on his mountain bike stopped and asked if knew the area. Er, no. So, he kindly suggested I keep going for a great view to the south and to look out for these paths curving their way down the hill. I found them and stopped to take in the beautiful view even though it was still quite dark
Finding a composition and setting up the camera needs to be done quickly to be ready for the light. I weaved around a bit to find the right place on the path to get the composition right. The sun gradually came up to give this warm glow across the heather. I was lucky to get the shot before the light turned too bright and too white.
