Spring is such a special time in the forest especially when the foals start appearing. This little foal looked so at ease whilst it rested with its mum close by in the early morning sun.
I was some distance when I took this so not to disturb them. I could have stayed there watching for longer but, as serene as the ponies are on the forest they are also restless.
As always, I got lucky being in the right place at the right time.
