This is near a track I ride along on my mountain bike. Like so many places in the New Forest, the area caught my eye and I knew I had to go back and photograph it.
The leaves on the trees are still relatively pale due to being early spring. The river has common brown look which comes from the surrounding soil and bogs. There are so many areas like this across the forest which change so much across the seasons. I go back regularly to this amazing location.
