Here’s the story.

When someone requests photographs I trawl through my catalogue to see if I have the right shots for their requirements. On this occasion the call was for new, New Forest pony shots. What a great excuse to get out and get something a bit different. I was out before sunrise (as usual) hoping to see the sun come up into a clear sky. Result! A number of lovely ponies were making their way across the moor and the sun was peeking up above the horizon. For once, my plan actually played out perfectly.

This lovely pony with striking white blaze seemed particularly interested in me and what I was doing. So much so it was brilliant at looking straight into the camera. I moved backwards so it didn’t get too close but eventually I had to go sideways and let it past. That was fine, I’d got the shots I wanted.
